Working together
Experienced help.
On an hourly basis.
Engage Santurce Software for ongoing engineering, a defined body of work, or fractional technical leadership. Every arrangement starts with clear priorities and written terms.
Ongoing engineering
Add experienced capacity to your team. We can work in your existing repository, collaborate with your engineers, and take on implementation, reviews, integrations, or operational improvements.
Project-focused work
Define the problem and intended deliverables, then work through them in reviewable increments. Billing is for time worked rather than milestone payments. Estimates inform planning; they are not fixed-price promises.
Fractional leadership & executive consulting
Get help with architecture, technical planning, risk, and team delivery, with an engineer who can also implement the recommendations.
What we agree before starting
- Scope, priorities, and a primary point of contact
- Hourly rate, expected capacity, and billing cadence
- Any spending cap and how additional work is approved
- Access, confidentiality, and intellectual property terms
- Progress updates and how either party ends the engagement
Final commercial and legal terms belong in the signed agreement and statement of work. Availability and rates are confirmed for each engagement.
Common questions
Know what to expect.
How do engagements work?
Work is contracted through Santurce Software LLC and billed hourly. We agree on the rate, priorities, expected capacity, and any spending cap in writing before starting. Both ongoing support and defined projects use time-based billing.
Who will I work with?
You work directly with the engineer responsible for the engagement, with clear ownership of architecture, implementation, and technical decisions.
Can you work with our existing team and codebase?
Yes. Engagements can focus on a specific system or backlog, additional senior engineering capacity, or fractional technical leadership alongside your team.
Where are you based?
Santurce Software is based in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico and works remotely with clients in Puerto Rico, the mainland United States, and elsewhere. Puerto Rico stays on Atlantic Standard Time, UTC−4, year-round.
What should I send to get started?
A short description of your company, current system, problem, desired timing, and expected weekly capacity is enough for an initial conversation. Rates and availability are confirmed individually.
